Proyecto Europeo Multilateral COMENIUS - Participación IES Las Canteras
Por iniciativa del Departamento de Inglés, el Instituto Las Canteras de Collado Villalba (Madrid- España) está trabajando en un proyecto europeo multilateral Comenius, en colaboración con otros tres centros de secundaria de Alemania, Noruega y el Reino Unido. El título de Proyecto es: Centros de enseñanza ecológicos: Hacia una Europa más verde.
Los objetivos fundamentales del proyecto son no sólo fomentar una conciencia más ecológica entre profesores y alumnos sino también promover el trabajo interdepartamental en el instituto. En aras de esta segunda idea, trabajan en el proyecto los siguientes departamentos: Orientación, Geografía e Historia, Inglés, Lengua Castellana y Literatura, Francés, Biología y Geología, Educación Plástica y Visual, Latín, Imagen Personal, FOL y Educación Física.
Además, también hay alumnos trabajando en las distintas actividades del proyecto: Mapa de las lenguas europeas, Rincón europeo, eco-cuestionario, taller literario, presentaciones y vídeos sobre nuestro instituto, sobre Madrid y sobre España.

On iniciative of English department, Las Canteras Secondary School, in collado Villalba (Madrid-Spain) is working on a Multilateral European Project in collaboration with other three Secondary Schools in Germany, Norway and United Kingdom. The name ot the Project is Eco-Schools: Towards a Greener Europe
The basic aims of the Project are not only to promote a more ecologically concerned attitude but also to foster the collaboration among the different departments in the school. In order to achieve the latter idea, there are different departments working on the project: Orientation, Geograhy and History, Language, French, Biology and Geology, Arts, Latin, Personal Image, Work and Physical Education.
In addition, there are also students working on the different activities: European map of Lnaguages, European Corner, Eco-questionnaire, Literary Workshop, Power Point Presentations and Videos about our School, Madrid and Spain…

El 29 de abril, en la Escuela de Negocios, ESIC, de Pozuelo, nuestros alumnos del Ciclo Formativo de Grado Superior Instalaciones Electrotécnicas, presentaron ante el correspondiente jurado su proyecto empresarial sobre fibra óptica. Fue seleccionado entre 170 de toda España y quedaron en 3º lugar. ¡Enhorabuena! Han trabajado mucho a pesar de estar, a la vez, realizando sus FCT. Enhorabuena, también a Ana, su profesora de FOL.
